Hot off the press…
- The new Wessex AiT handbook 2016 has been released.
- Writers often write about what they know, and to look for the universal in personal experiences. GPs bear witness to a greater raft of personal stories than many other professionals, and regularly come face to face with narratives of the most significant and universal themes. For a growing number of GPs, writing is a way of processing and making sense of these experiences. Writing enhances reflective practice and professional development. with this in mind, Dorset GP Education Centre is running two creative writing workshops for GPs working in Dorset. The workshops will be led by Emma Scattergood, professional writer and Programme leader of MA Creative Writing and Publishing at Bournemouth University. Emma has been working with the GP Education team over the past two years and will tailor the activities so they will be of benefit to novices and more experienced writers.
Saturday 11 March and Saturday 25 March 2017 10.15am-12.30 pm
Total cost for 2 workshops: £25.
This includes complimentary entrance to the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum on both days, as well as refreshments.
