Hot off the press…
- The new Wessex AiT handbook 2016 has been released.

- Writers often write about what they know, and to look for the universal in personal experiences. GPs bear witness to a greater raft of personal stories than many other professionals, and regularly come face to face with narratives of the most significant and universal themes. For a growing number of GPs, writing is a way of processing and maybe making sense of these experiences. Putting a true or fictionalised account of these experiences out into the world allows others to benefit from them also. It is important that such writing is supported, and with this in mind, we are launching the first Dorset GP Creative Writing Competition, to encourage you to pick up your pens, or open your laptops, and play with words.
