MRCGP developments

CSA: 14th Case Pilot A new type of CSA case is being piloted during May 2016, a short answer written case which aims to test specific aspects of prescribing. Candidates will sit the pilot case after completion of the standard 13 case CSA circuit and the marks for the pilot case will not count towards the candidate’s score.
CEPS The GMC has approved CEPS to replace DOPS in the workplace. Any DOPS already completed will count towards competency in CEPS and an ePortfolio update will take place by the end of March 2016 which will render the current DOPS page read-only and prevent further DOPS being completed. See the RCGP website for further information.
