The process for managing this has now changed at the deanery. Instead of this triggering an ARCP, it will be reviewed by the local ARCP team and then only those with significant concerns (extension or release) will go on to have a full ARCP. Most of the requests will be directed towards the local patch team. If you select either Panel Opinion Requested or Unsatisfactory at ESR and the trainee has an ARCP due in the next few weeks then you do not need to do anything more. If the trainee is mid year and not due a review then you must inform the GP team at the deanery gp.wx@hee.nhs.uk

GP Trainer Course – ePortfolio Update Session
The next small group ePortfolio workshop will be held on Thursday 27th February 2020 (pm) at Otterbourne and is bookable here.
F2 Working Hours
The generic work schedules have all GP FY2 trainees working 0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday, totalling 40 hours, inclusive of a 30 minute paid lunch break, as per terms & conditions. If any practices are deviating from the 40 hours in relation to the lunch break, they must communicate this both to the trainee and the employing Trust so they can adjust the work schedule for that practice.
Supernumerary Status for GP Trainers
Please see this letter sent on behalf of the GP Trainees Committee co-chairs at the BMA.
ePortfolio Day for GP Trainers, 24 January – invited to attend
Mandatory training set for trainees by their Lead employers MUST BE DONE, even if it seems irrelevant when trainees are based in a GP Post, because otherwise they may not be paid (contractual requirement).
Trainers Meeting, 4th March – Cancelled
As the ePortfolio day is taking place on 24th January, the Trainers Meeting on 4th March has now been cancelled.
