Bournemouth GP Education
Bournemouth Postgraduate Medical Education Centre is one of the busiest Postgraduate Centres in the South Coast of England, we provide high quality education to local GPs through our whole day Specialty Days which we hold 6 per year. With the support of our Director of Medical Education and our local Consultant colleagues we are committed to the continued development of the primary/secondary care interface. We hold a 2 day GP Refresher in February each year and twice a year in Spring and Winter we offer a regional course in Sexual and Reproductive Health, attracting keynote speakers from across the county
We support practice based education and small group learning and are particularly keen to facilitate the education of non principal doctors. The GP Tutor, Dr Peter Blick, is always willing to offer individual advice as an informal mentor and is supported by a dedicated and approachable Post Graduate Education Team.
