- Form R (2011) – GPSTs have to complete a Form R on entering specialty training and before a National Training Number is issued. This form then needs to be submitted annually to the Deanery in order to renew registration for specialty training.

- PAY2 – Health Education Wessex (June 2013) – General Practice Trainee Payment Form – PAY2 – Change of GP StR Details / Circumstances. Please complete this form as soon as there is a change of GP StR details or circumstances so that the Deanery can adjust their records and continue to release payments (eg GP StR salary, GP trainer’s grant) to the training practice. This form should only be used for a continuation with your existing practice or when you change practice within the same Health Authority (but not for a change from a GP ST2 to a GP ST3 placement). Any other changes require completion of a PAY1 form.

- Reimbursement for Medical Defence Fees – Indemnity – Under the guidance issued in Schedule 1 of the “Allowance, Accommodation, Removal and Associate Expenses for GP Registrars in General Practice”, it states that when the GP Trainee is employed in General Practice, that they are required to have medical defence cover and will be entitled to reimbursement.
