Programme Directors

Andrew Longley – ST1/2 PD


Andrew is a Programme Director for St1 and 2 trainees, and is responsible for the Bournemouth and Christchurch GP rotations. He practices as a GP in Bournemouth.


Alistair Watkins – ST1/2 PD


Alistair is Programme Director for the Poole rotation.  He is a GP Trainer and GP Partner in Corfe Mullen.


Will Bowditch- ST1/2 PD


Will is a Programme Director for the Dorchester rotation. He works as a GP in Weymouth.


Emer Forde – F2 PD


Emer is a Programme Director with responsibility for the Foundation Programme. She works as a GP in Poole.


Alex Jones – ST3 PD


Alex Jones (nee Davies) worked as Poole GP Tutor from April 2009 to August 2011 before she changed roles to become a PD3.  She works as a Retainer GP in Wiltshire.


Adam Fraser – ST3 PD


Adam is a GP partner and trainer in Weymouth. He helped write the new curriculum for GP training, and produced e-GP online learning modules with Roger Neighbour.


Aurelia Butcher – First5 & Sessional GP Lead and ST3 PD


Aurelia works with GP Trainees on the Day Release Course and is also responsible for education events for First5 and sessional GPs in Dorset. She works as a GP in Poole.


Sarita Chopra – ST3 PD


Simon Phillips – ST3 PD

Simon works as a locum and urgent care GP in addition to his role as Programme Director at Dorset GP Education Centre.
